Helping the brand to get the customer’s attention
Even though HEINZ ketchup is a popular brand known all over the world, the market share in Japan was only 4% when we were hired for this campaign. Many Japanese never even heard about HEINZ so the main challenge was to make the consumers know about Heinz ketchup.
CAMPAIGN STRATEGY
Using a fun browser game that works together with social media 
We planned a campaign featuring the popular character Waldo, that included the design of a special bottle as well as an interactive website. On the website you could play „Where‘s ketchup“, a game in the style of „Where‘s Waldo“, where you have to look for HEINZ ketchup bottles instead of finding Waldo. Depending on how fast you finished the game you could get a personalized label with your record and by sharing your results on twitter you got the chance to receive a special present. By making use of social media for our campaign, we were able to reach more people and get more visitors to the website.
